Three ways to run a week
- Fixed weekly. The same time each week, with a reminder before each class.
- Week by week. You choose the times for each week, which suits a life that moves around.
- Self-paced. No times at all. Start a class when you are ready, and the next lesson is waiting. A gentle reminder comes after a few quiet days if you want one.
A structure to follow
A homeschool week needs an order. A ready-made program gives it: the units and topics of the course as 15-minute lessons, five levels from a short review to the deepest level, and a plan that carries over what a class did not finish. See the programs. For anything else, tell the tutor the topic or upload your own materials and it builds a plan from them.
To choose between the ready-made programs, the Programs page puts them side by side to one hours scale, with a real lesson and what each costs.
What the parent sees
The parent sets up the classes and the student has their own login, verified by email. A parent can choose a recap after each class, with what was covered and what comes next, and a weekly update. A parent can also open a class while it is live. The student's screen says when they do.
What it does not replace
An AI tutor does not replace hands-on science, discussion with other people, or your state or country's requirements. Check what your records need to show, and use the recaps, when they are switched on, as a log of what was taught.
What it costs
You can start on the Free plan: 45 live class minutes a month (about one class of the default length), no card needed. Pro is $15 a month for 6 hours of live class time, and Pro+ is $30 for 15 hours.
| Plan | Price | Live class time a month | Works out to | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 45 min | about one class | No card needed |

| Pro+ | $30 a month | 900 min (15 hours) | $2 an hour | $300 a year if paid yearly |
| Pico | No monthly fee | Pay as you go | $3 an hour ($0.05 a minute) | Paid from a wallet you top up |
Questions people ask
Can I use Tutix for homeschooling?
Yes. Classes can run at a fixed weekly time, week by week, or whenever you start one, so they fit a flexible timetable.
Does it follow a curriculum?
Ready-made programs cover the units of seven AP courses and five Cambridge IGCSE courses. For other subjects, the tutor builds classes from the syllabus or notes you give it.
How long is a class?
You choose: from 15 minutes to 2 hours, in 15-minute steps.
Can I see what was taught?
Yes. Each class ends with a recap of what was covered and what is next, which also works as a record.
What if we miss a day?
Nothing is lost. The plan waits where you left it, and the next class starts from there.
What ages is it for?
Tutix is for students aged 13 and over.
