**The short answer.** Tutix has twelve ready-made AP and IGCSE programs. Each is a syllabus cut into live classes with an AI tutor, taught in order at five depths, from 3.8 to 86.2 hours of lessons depending on the program and the depth. Any program starts on the free plan. A program pass, from $19, holds one program's class hours for 12 months, with no subscription.

## What a program pass costs

A program pass holds one program's class hours, at one level, for one learner. It is valid for 12 months, adds 15% extra time, and unused hours can be refunded within 14 days. There is no subscription. Any program also starts on the free plan.

## How a program works

- **Written once.** A lesson is a short card: teach it, show it, check it.
- **Checked.** A second pass solves every multiple-choice question again and audits the working.
- **Taught live.** Your tutor teaches it by voice, a step at a time, and answers what you ask.

## A parent's view

- **A letter after class.** What was covered, and why the next class is what it is.
- **Listen to a live class.** Open it and listen, including your child’s microphone. Your child’s screen says “A parent is listening”.
- **Quiet, or closely informed.** A recap and a weekly note, or reminders too, and a note if your child hasn’t joined five minutes in.

## Questions

**Is this a course, or a class?**

Both. A program is a syllabus cut into classes. Every class is live with your tutor, and the next one starts where the last one stopped.

**Do I have to buy a pass?**

No. Any program starts on your plan’s live minutes, and Free gives you enough for one class at the default length. A pass is for one program, at one level, for one learner, if you want a set number of class hours with no subscription.

**Is the tutor a person?**

No. It’s an AI that speaks with your child live, and its recaps are written by AI too, so what it says can occasionally be wrong. The lessons themselves are written once, ahead of time, and checked.

**What if we miss a class?**

Its lessons move to the next class, so nothing is skipped. If a class is missed, up to three make-up times for the next week are suggested.

**Does it follow my exam board’s syllabus?**

Each program is built from the board’s published syllabus and written in our own words. It is not made, approved or endorsed by the board. Where a program doesn’t yet cover a whole syllabus, its page says so.

**How soon can we start?**

Right away. A program class starts the moment you press Start now, with no slides to wait for. You can book classes ahead too.

**How old does my child need to be?**

13 or older. If your child is under 18, a parent or guardian needs to agree to the terms.
