**The short answer.** Tutix does not have a ready-made SAT program, but you can start SAT classes today: tell the AI tutor you are preparing for the SAT and which section, and it teaches the skills live, reads your work and remembers what you missed. The digital SAT is 98 questions in 2 hours 14 minutes, adaptive, scored 400 to 1600.

- 98 questions, 134 minutes, adaptive by section
- Scored 400 to 1600; each section 200 to 800
- A built-in graphing calculator for the whole Math section
- Next test dates: Nov 7, 2026, Dec 5, 2026 and Mar 6, 2027

## How the digital SAT works

| Section | Questions | Time | Modules |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Reading and Writing | 54 | 64 minutes | Two of 32 minutes |
| Math | 44 | 70 minutes | Two of 35 minutes |
| Total | 98 | 2 h 14 (with a 10-minute break) | Four |

The test is taken in the College Board's Bluebook app and is adaptive: how you do on the first module of each section decides how hard the second is. Each module includes two unscored pretest questions. Scores run from 400 to 1600, from two section scores of 200 to 800. Most questions are multiple choice; some Math questions ask you to type the answer. An embedded graphing calculator is available throughout the Math section, or you can bring an approved one.

## What is on it

- Math. Algebra (13 to 15 of the 44 questions), Advanced Math (13 to 15), Problem-Solving and Data Analysis (5 to 7) and Geometry and Trigonometry (5 to 7). About 30% of questions are set in a real-world context.
- Reading and Writing. Short passages, each with one question, covering how a text is built, what it says, the rules of standard English and how well it expresses an idea.

## How to prepare with Tutix today

1. Start a class and name the subject. Type the test and section, for example SAT Math: algebra or SAT Reading and Writing. The wizard suggests what the classes should cover, and you can edit it.
2. Attach your syllabus or your own notes if you have them, so the tutor teaches the topics your course actually lists.
3. Choose a tutor and a rhythm. Seven tutor personalities; a fixed weekly time, week by week, or start whenever you like.
4. Join the class. You talk, the tutor teaches on a shared whiteboard and slides, and reads what you write while you are still in class.
5. Read the recap. After each class you see what was covered and what is next, and the next class starts from there.

A class teaches the skill, then you answer questions on it live and the tutor reads them as you go and tells you what is missing. The recap names the skills you have not yet got, and the next class is planned from it. Take full practice tests in the College Board's own app to see your timing.

Ready-made programs exist today for AP and IGCSE, drawn side by side on the Programs page; for the SAT, the tutor builds the classes from your own syllabus or notes.

A class, opened. A sample written to show how a class sounds (not a real learner); the scores show how the exam would credit each answer.

> **Math · Linear equations.** Question: A line has slope 2 and passes through the point (3, 7). What is its y-intercept?
> The student wrote: 7 − 2 = 5 (the exam would credit 0 of 1)
> The tutor: The slope multiplies x, it is not subtracted from y. Start from y = 2x + b and put in the point (3, 7).
> The student then wrote: 7 = 2(3) + b, so b = 1. (the exam would credit 1 of 1)

## Dates

As of October 21, 2026, the next SAT national dates are November 7, 2026, December 5, 2026, March 6, 2027, May 1, 2027 and June 5, 2027. Registration closes about two weeks before each, and the College Board publishes any change. See SAT vs ACT for the table and how to choose.

## What it costs

You can start on the Free plan: 45 live class minutes a month (about one class of the default length), no card needed. Pro is $15 a month for 6 hours of live class time, and Pro+ is $30 for 15 hours.

| Plan | Price | Live class time a month | Works out to | Note |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free | $0 | 45 min | about one class | No card needed |
| Pro | $15 a month | 360 min (6 hours) | $2.50 an hour | $150 a year if paid yearly |
| Pro+ | $30 a month | 900 min (15 hours) | $2 an hour | $300 a year if paid yearly |
| Pico | No monthly fee | Pay as you go | $3 an hour ($0.05 a minute) | Paid from a wallet you top up |

The hourly figure is the plan's price divided by the live class hours it includes, when you use them all. Live class time is the tutor teaching you; other limits (study items, messages, uploads) are on the pricing page.
