Your answer

Transpiration increases as temperature increases because more water evaporates from the leaf.

1/3

Your rewrite, after the note

Water loss rises as temperature increases from 10 °C to about 35 °C, then levels off. The lower surface loses more water than the upper surface at every temperature, reaching 1.7 compared with 0.55 mg per cm² per hour.

How today's Biology class went

Here's where today left us.

You took question 3(b) from 1 mark to 3. We didn't get to explaining the plateau properly, so it's first on Thursday.

You asked why the lower surface loses more water. It has more stomata, so more water vapour can escape.

Homework: one graph description and one explanation question.

The comparison. You quoted 1.7 against 0.55 without me asking.

What Sage remembers

Describing graphs: gets the trend, then drops the comparison with numbers and where the line levels off.

Seen in Class 13Photosynthesis graph, rate against light intensity. Trend right, same two marks lost.

Seen in Class 14Question 3(b), water loss from a leaf. Trend right, same two marks lost.

FAQs

Is this a chatbot?

It's a scheduled class. Your tutor talks with you out loud, works on the same page as you, and marks your work as you go. It remembers last time and plans the next class around it.

What if I miss a class?

Your tutor sends up to three make-up times for the next week. The plan waits exactly where you left it.

Can I move a class?

Ask your tutor, in chat or on a call. “Can we do Friday instead this week?” gets “Friday 17:30 works. Same plan. Want me to move it?” Nothing changes until you say yes.

Which subjects?

Any subject you can name. Upload your syllabus, notes or past papers and the plan is built from them.

How long is a class?

You choose: 15 minutes to 2 hours, in 15-minute steps, at a fixed weekly time or week by week.

What do I need?

A browser and a mic. Nothing to install, and nobody's on camera.

How old do I need to be?

13 or older. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to agree.

What happens to my data?

We never sell your data or use it to train outside AI models. You can see and edit what your tutor remembers.
